This shock-absorbing lanyard, which retracts automatically to fit the working area, uses an internal spring to retract and expand from 2-1/2 to 6 ft (0.8 to 1.8 m), operating smoothly without any lock-ups. Its anchor end has a DBI/Sala flat steel rebar hook with a 2-1/2 in (63.5 mm) gate opening.
